Osmose and McWane Poles announced the release of an O-Calc® Pro catalog of McWane manufactured ductile iron poles.  This catalog enables pole owners who use McWane ductile iron poles to quickly and accurately perform comprehensive load analyses of these poles using O-Calc Pro software.

O-Calc Pro software is used by companies across the United States, Canada, and the Australia for pole loading applications related to joint use, utility standards, pole replacements, pole reinforcement, and system hardening. "Our development goal is to remain on the forefront of structure analysis and continually extend the functionality of the software for users" said Mike Rigney, Director of Product Management for Osmose.  The ever-expanding catalog (which includes a growing number of both wood and non-wood poles and crossarms) allows O-Calc Pro users to more quickly and easily model poles.  Other recent updates to O-Calc Pro include the creation of an open plugin architecture which allows users to extend the functionality of O-Calc Pro in virtually any direction.
